Quality Manager – Black Belt / Finland
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, guidance and quality management support to the respective locations within the division
- Establish, maintain and optimize effective quality management systems
- Create and implement quality plans to achieve the levels of quality established through organizational goals, customer expectations and competition
- Communicate all customer, regulatory and organizational requirements to assure product quality, contract compliance and customer satisfaction
- Effective documentation and implementation of the quality management system to assure compliance with all requirements and the corporate standards
- Coordinate quality system audits and corrective action
- Cooperate with Supply Chain on supplier management
- Cooperate with Engineering on product development and design review for quality issues
- Division compliance with policies and procedures
- Apply appropriate quality tools as PPAP, APQP, FMEA etc.
- Proper staffing and development of the Quality function within the division
- Close working relationship with Group Quality Manager
- Promote and lead the Quality Strategy Deployment within the division
- Undertake and lead change to progress Win certification in the division
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Degree in engineering with manufacturing management experience
- 5+ years multi-site quality management experience incl. people management
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
- Sound knowledge and deployment of Advanced Quality Tools
- Strong customer service orientation
- Hands-on approach
- Results-driven, dynamic, strong leadership and communication skills, self-driven, well organized
- Fluent in Finnish, German and English
- Cultural awareness
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Influence within a matrix organization
